What are tiny fine line tattoos?
As the name suggests, they are small tattoos done with fine outlines. Perfect for anyone who wants a minimalistic, feminine or dainty tattoo.
What does the process involve?
The procedure is a 2 step process, consisting of the initial procedure followed by a touch up session 6-8 weeks later.
During the initial procedure, we apply a stencil of your chosen design. This can be from one of our ready printed flash sheet designs or a custom design. Custom designs are drawn in advance and sent to you for approval before being printed for your appointment.
Once you are happy with stencil placement we begin the tattooing. The touch up session is to see how your tattoo has healed and address any concerns if necessary.
Is it safe?
Yes, the procedure is carried out in strict compliance of all health and hygiene measures and only sterile, disposable cartridges and supplies are used during the procedure. The health and wellness of our clients is of the utmost importance. The ink used are 100% vegan and cruelty free.
Are fine line tattoos painful?
Everyone’s pain threshold is different and while there may be some discomfort, it is minimal as fine line tattoos have thinner lines and are relatively small in size. However, if you would like to be more comfortable then you are more than welcome to apply numbing cream before your appointment. Over the counter numbing cream from the pharmacy is sufficient and should be applied according to the instructions.
What areas of the body are most painful?
Ribs, spine, forehead, neck, ankles, hands, fingers and feet are known to be the most painful areas. The fleshier the area, the less it hurts.
Do fine line tattoos fade quickly?
Although tattoos are permanent, that doesn’t mean they won’t need some upkeep. Traditional and fine line tattoos will fade and slightly blur over time. Most tattoo designs, including both traditional and fine line, will require a touchup at some point. This is partly because the immune system in the body will, in time, slowly and minimally removed the ink placed in the skin.
Sun exposure/tanning will also cause the fading of the tattoos so clients are encouraged to use sunscreen on areas that are exposed to the Sun.
Are there certain parts of the body where the tattoo will fade faster than other parts?
Yes. Feet, knees, fingers and elbows are all areas where the tattoo fade faster due to movement and the high skin cell turnover in these areas.
How do I care for my tattoo?
