What are tiny fine line tattoos?
Tiny fine line tattoos are small, delicate designs created with precision, fine outlines—perfect for minimal, feminine, or dainty styles.
Is it safe?
Yes. Our private Adelaide tattoo studio follows strict hygiene standards, using only sterile, single-use cartridges and disposables. All inks are 100% vegan and cruelty-free. Your health and safety are our top priority.
Does it hurt?
Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but most clients experience minimal discomfort due to the small and delicate nature of tiny tattoos. Bony areas such as ribs, spine, hands, fingers and feet tend to be more sensitive while fleshier areas generally feel less intense.
Do fine line tattoos fade?

Do fine line tattoos fade?
All tattoos fade over time. Factors that affect fading include:
- Sun exposure (always use SPF once healed)
- High-movement areas (feet, fingers, elbows, knees)
- Natural immune system processes
Who isn’t a suitable candidate?
You cannot be tattooed if you:
- Are under 18
- Are pregnant or breastfeeding
- Are currently undergoing chemotherapy
- Have used Roaccutane or similar medication within the past 12 months
- Recently had surgery (tattooing cannot be performed until fully healed and medically cleared)
- Diabetes, epilepsy, autoimmune conditions
- Hypertension or heart conditions
- Are prone to keloids
- Sick
- Sunburnt
- Experiencing an active infection (including cold sores)
Preparing for your appointment:
- Avoid tanning 7 days prior – sunburned or tanned skin is more sensitive and doesn’t hold ink as well.
- Do not consume alcohol or recreational drugs 24 hours before your appointment – you cannot be tattooed under the influence for safety and legal reasons.
- Avoid excessive caffeine and intense exercise on the day – these can increase bleeding and sensitivity.
- Don’t wax the area 3 days before – freshly waxed skin can be irritated and more sensitive.
- Shaving the area is appreciated but not required – clean skin makes tattooing easier, but we can shave the area if needed.
- Arrive well-rested, hydrated, and having eaten – fatigue, dehydration, or low blood sugar can increase discomfort and affect healing.
- Ensure the area is clean and free from fake tan, lotions, oils, or irritation – products on skin can interfere with ink and increase risk of infection.
Tattoo aftercare:
- Remove second skin after 24 hours
- Wash gently, pat dry, and apply aftercare
- Apply a new second skin for 3–7 days if possible
- If unable to use second skin, continue cleansing and applying aftercare until fully healed
- Protect with SPF once healed.
- Book touch-up after 6-8 weeks if needed
- Avoid direct sunlight
- Don’t pick scabs or flakes
- Avoid tight clothing or friction on the tattoo area
- No swimming, baths, or hot tubs until fully healed
All appointments are held in our private studio on Lane street, in Richmond, Adelaide 5033. The full address is supplied upon confirmed booking. Due to the size of our boutique studio and our commitment to a safe and hygienic environment, we are unable to accommodate pets or children.
