Dermaplaning facial $100
Includes double cleansing, toning, dermaplaning, enzyme exfoliation, mask, hydrating serum and moisturiser & SPF application.
Dermaplaning is an advance exfoliation that gets rid of the top layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair aka peach fuzz thereby allowing products to penetrate deeper and creating a smoother surface for makeup application. If you don't have time or can only do one thing before a special event then this is the perfect go to treatment!
Ultrasonic cleansing $10
For a deeper clean, an ultrasonic spatula is used to deep cleanse pores. This is especially great for sebaceous filaments on and around the nose.

What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a physical/mechanical form of exfoliation using a sterile blade specifically designed for removing the outermost layer of dead skin cells and vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). It helps increase product penetration and minimises the appearance of fine lines and pigmentation. It leaves the skin smooth, supple, and vibrant, creating the perfect canvas for makeup application, making it the perfect go to service for any special occasion where you need to look your best and be photo ready.
Does it hurt?
No, Dermaplaning is actually quite gentle, clients often fall asleep on the treatment table as they find it quite relaxing.
What can I expect after the procedure?
Immediately after your skin will feel smoother and look brighter.
The next few days your skin may feel a bit tight or get tiny flakes from the AHA/BHA and enzyme peel so its important to use a hydrating moisteriser twice a day and sunscreen to protect your new skin! We recommend Barrier PRO (a moisturiser/sunscreen) or Super sun SPF50 daily for sun protection.
Delay exposure to excessive heat, heavy workouts, steam rooms and saunas for the first 24-48 hours after the treatment.
Don't use cleansers, serums or spot treatments containing salicylic acid or Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO) for 5 days following treatment.
Product penetrates much better so its the perfect time to start your skincare routine (if you don't already have one).
Do not use Retin-A, 5 days pre and post dermaplaning.
Wait 7 days before getting any facial waxing done (waxing may be done prior to your Dermaplaning appointment).
Will my hair grow back thicker?
This is a misconception and is physiologically impossible. We have 2 different types of hair, the fine vellus hair that grows on our face and all over our body and Terminal hair, the thick dark hair that grows on or underarms, beards etc. After Dermaplaning they will continue to grow exactly the same as before but with a blunt end as dermaplaning does not get rid of the roots. However, vellus facial hair has a quick cycle and as the old (dermaplaned) hair falls out the new hair will grow with a fine tip again.
If you would prefer exfoliation without getting rid of vellous hair then we suggest a Super Serum Peel instead.
How often can I get Dermaplaned?
Our normal skin production and shedding cycle takes approximately 28 days therefore Dermaplaning can be performed every 3 to 4 weeks as it removes about 2 to 3 weeks worth of dead skin cells.
Who cannot get Dermaplaned?
Clients with active acne outbreaks (should consider the Clear + Correct Peel instead for exfoliation)
Clients with bleeding disorders or difficulty clotting.
Clients with diabetes, not under control by diet or medication.
Clients undergoing cancer treatment.
Clients with active cold sores.
How soon should I schedule a Dermaplaning facial before my my event?
Dermaplaning should be done several days before a big event - especially if this is your first time being Dermaplaned to avoid a reaction to either Dermaplaning or a product used on your skin during or following treatment.
